TCIT has been established to encourage the study of information technology and management. We aim to prepare a knowledge workforce comparable to the best in the country through instruction in the cutting edge technology. TCIT also lays emphasis on individual and group projects, so that our students learn to be co-operative and productive team members. The graduate and post graduate students also have access to the highest levels of hands on training, project experience and expert instruction.

Life at TCIT College is not just about academic brilliance. The great strength of the College is its sense of community. Our students share common bonds: they value learning, respect each other and appreciate the skills and expertise of their mentors. Students also find that that the College is small enough to feel it is their home from home.

Tura College of Information Technology (TCIT) a pace setter organization in Higher Education, is established at Tura, Meghalaya to cater to the Technology and Management training needs of its very own people of Garo Hills. It was established in the year 2003 by three young qualified Techies of Garo Hills.

TCIT is a dynamic organization and has rapidly grown over the past years. The "Quality Growth" of any organization can be ensured if the Management that drives it, is committed to excellence. The commitment towards excellence is closely linked with the level of competence of the individual concerned.
